Founded in 2008 by two architects and a structural engineer, Lemni Arq is a team of fourteen working between Lisbon and Mendoza. We take on a handful of houses a year — and see every one through to the keys.

Rule 01
The land decides orientation, height and openings. Aesthetics come after the sun has had its say.
Rule 02
Lime, oak, local stone. Every material is chosen to age well and be repaired, not replaced.
Rule 03
We design for the Tuesday morning, not the photo shoot. Storage, light and quiet come first.
